4 Fantastic Sisters

I discovered Pick Up Your Feet: The Double Dutch Show, a 1981 documentary

by Skip Blumberg that celebrates young competitors at the 8th Annual

World Invitational Double Dutch Championship held at Lincoln Center in

New York City.

My collection, 4 Fantastic Sisters, is inspired by the

sisterhood of The Fantastic Four, who are truly fantastic women, as

captured in Pick Up Your Feet: The Double Dutch Show.

To honor that, I created four garments — one for each member — each

reflecting their individuality while embodying the unity that defined

them as a team. The collection is centered on denim, a material that,

like Double Dutch, is deeply woven into everyday life yet holds the power

for transformation.

More than a tribute to their achievements, 4 Fantastic Sisters reflects

the bonds they built — unshaken by time, strengthened by movement, and woven together through trust
